Well after WAY too much time not making any artwork, I believe my muse has been kicked into gear! Maybe it's the changing in seasons, or the fact our son is back in school and I have un-interrupted "me" time. Don't know, don't care, just so glad to be creating!
This summer, while really wonderful, went so quick. We took a 3 week vacation in June. Black Hills, SD, Yellowstone, Glacier Park, Oregon coast & 5 days in the Olympic Penninsula. It was amazing. Getting back home, we had weeks of company here. It was August before I knew it, and that is a busy month in our family. So I am GLAD it is September!
The above tag is done Ranger, Sizzix & Tim Holtz products. Alcohol Ink, Distress inks, BIGZ Birdcage die (embossed with a Texture Fade Wooden)
All of these ATC's were done with images from Altered Pages
and Alcohol ink backgrounds!
This was a sample board I made. I demoed working with alcohol inks & images for Artist and Display as they were hosting the Bayview Book Arts Guild.
Having extra backgrounds, I just couldn't help but use this beautiful image from the BEATUY IN YELLOW sheet from Altered Pages.
I did this piece for my niece Natalie. The background is the Brick Texture Fade folder by Tim Holtz. Been dying to do this one up as graffiti! Stamp is one of the Goth Girls (2 barrettes) by Stampotique.
This tag is all about Distress Inks! Images are from Artistic Outpost and Stampers Anonymous, Tim Holtz collection.
