Happy Birthday Tim!

Saturday January 7th is Tim's birthday, and Linda over at Studio L3 is hosting a Birthday card making event to coordinate with her Grungy Monday challenge!
Well, I've been needing to get creating, so this was a perfect Challenge to get me going!

I used one of the older stamp sets, CMS015 ROAD TRIP. Don't know WHAT took me so long to bust out this one, since I love the Old Jalopy and the phrase!
The background is done with Distress Re-inkers in Antique Linen, Forest Moss and Tumbled Glass, spritzed with Biscotti Perfect Mist. For the cardstock I was experimenting, and used Ranger's Manilla and Krome Cote (inside of card) to see how differently it behaved compared to my standard cardstock.

I pulled Tim's picture off his blog, resized it and added him into the window of the Jalopy! There's MICA in the windows, which dosn't show up well in the pictures. The key, the red circle and transistor are all vintage items I added in.

The actual card design is from Technique Junkies, 3D and Fun Folds CD, and is a Fancy Gate Fold.

This picture shows the inside, which is done using stickers from Tim's Sticker stash, and a transistor I adhered with Glossy Accents.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
MR. HOLTZ!
