Trees and Foil Card....

So, this started out being a piece for Carols book study on the Art Ventures group. But I didn't really follow the directions. Well I did, for another piece, not this one, but it led me to this so, it's not really the piece for THAT particular part of the book study. BUT Carol said it would work down the road. WHATEVER! I just thought it kind of turned out cool! Not at first. But after I 'got it together' I really like it!

The Tree Brass Stencil is from Dreamweaver (from when stencils were brass so I'm still calling it a brass stencil). The foil is Mona Lisa foil. Well, maybe it's a different brand. It's loose in a container, so don't hold me to the name. Umbrella man die cut on kraft paper.
Oh, and WHAT do you ask is in-between for the trees? Well, TWIG Distress Ink of course!

This also works nicely for the Challenge on The Cheerful Stamp Pad blog! I admit, I don't do a lot of challenges. I have enough to keep myself busy with without LOOKING for work! BUT when the challenge fits, and I happen to stagger onto it, I'm in!!!

I like this Jan... and I even have that stencil. I bought it after seeing Carol do something with it; I just can't remember what it was!
