Tag 11

This tag involved a tool I probably won't end up getting. It makes buttons. They look good, but I really can't see me and this together.
In my attempt to get the look, without too much puttzing around, I used some punched images covered in glossy accents for my flower centers.
That's on another tag which is drying. This one has no GA covering the images.
Sorry, but this is not one of my favorite of the tags. No worries, can't like them all. It does use the fabulous flourish & that wonderful reindeer!

Tomorrow is day 12. Last one. Sigh. This went quickly!

Revised Tag 10

Mine wasn't all 'bright' so I reapplied the ink:

Tag Day 10

Well I've skipped a few, but a girls got to get some Christmas shopping done! This is my take on today's tag. I had everything at home, but ended up using some chipboard letters that were covered with glitter. These were larger, so I could only get 4 letter words on my tag :O. Since the metal tape I had was a bit thinner, and not as wide, I needed to go across sideways as oppose to the long way. It also poked through, so I need to guide it across the letters & use the burnisher to get it closer before I layed the tape down completely. On the WISH tag, I used glossy accents to make patterns on the tag before putting the metal down. On the other, I used the Ten Second Studio tools to make designs into the metal. Also looks like I pulled too much Alcohol Ink off I used Cut N Dry nibs and Fantastix to add the AI to the metal. Ah live & learn.

Tag 6

Oh my, I just realized, we are 1/2 way through! I liked making this tag, as I have an old Pick Up truck I've had for years, and it was perfect! I've used it for Christmas cards several times, with trees in it. I added silver for the chrome with a Signo Silver Gel pen and 'snow' on the truck using a SnowWriter that puffs like snow when heated. I also added it to the tree to make the white really jump out.
My background dic-page kept getting too dark. twice in a row I forgot to use tape to pull off some paper 1st. DUH. Oh well, it is what it is. I don't follow direction well any way!

So what will Tim use next? I'm guessing Perfect Pearls....
And know he has give aways daily, plus a grand prize at the end! And I have the Flock he uses in store! Along with all things Tim uses, at 20% off through December 20th!

Tag 5 Fragments!

This tag was fun. And it actually was rather quick. Well, maybe because I did 3 of the fragments up a couple weeks ago as samples for an Ornament class I had planned....

The 2 rectangular Frag's are done with alcohol ink, and images from Jackie at Altered Pages http://www.alteredpages.com/  The smaller circle also has done using  alcohol ink, silver leafing and a Peel Off by Magenta. The large circle is using a component stamp image.

I didn't have any awesome white rub on's, so I used some German Scrap.

Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.... Wonder if I need to keep the alcohol ink out?

Tag 4

Well this one was certainly a challenge. LOVE the trinket pin. Although, I think using real hinges would look much better. I used a piece of chipboard I covered in metal. It's a tad large. I also didn't use the memory capsules, but chose to recycle some packaging. Same effect, but again, not quite as nice. As much as I didn't think the set of Mini Holidays set (CMS066) would go over, I sold all the set's I brought in! And I am finding it to be a perfect size for collage and ATC's!

Tag 3 in a lighter mood

I had done this background about 2 weeks or so ago. It was perfect to use for Tim's day 3 alcohol ink tag. The stamp set is CMS069 Artful Flight. The nest charm is from Red Lead Paper Works.

Day 3

As usual, I am doing these out of order. Didn't get a chance to do day's 1 & 2, maybe tomorrow.... But day 3 is Alcohol inks! Love that product. I've been stripeing and making plaids with the ink for a long time, so was pleased to see this done by Tim. Here's my samples.
