Christmas Wall Hangings

I am lucky enough to work with Karen at Artist and Display for the 3rd year of teaching at Tosa Rec's Learning Never Ends on Tuesday, October 18th! We always try & come up with a different project and this year we are working with Alchohol Inks, Clayboard by Ampersand Art and German/Victorian Scraps. A WONDERFUL combination to play with I must say!

I used white Peel Offs by Magenta, and inked with Eggplant alcohol ink.
The snowflake stamps, are of course by Tim.
The Flakes around the outside are from Martha Stewart.
There's a FINE shimmer of glitter on the image. So pretty!

I softened the alcohol ink background with Pearl Metalic Mixitive.
The stamps are all by Tim Holtz

Tag 5 Fragments!

This tag was fun. And it actually was rather quick. Well, maybe because I did 3 of the fragments up a couple weeks ago as samples for an Ornament class I had planned....

The 2 rectangular Frag's are done with alcohol ink, and images from Jackie at Altered Pages http://www.alteredpages.com/  The smaller circle also has done using  alcohol ink, silver leafing and a Peel Off by Magenta. The large circle is using a component stamp image.

I didn't have any awesome white rub on's, so I used some German Scrap.

Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.... Wonder if I need to keep the alcohol ink out?

Day 3

As usual, I am doing these out of order. Didn't get a chance to do day's 1 & 2, maybe tomorrow.... But day 3 is Alcohol inks! Love that product. I've been stripeing and making plaids with the ink for a long time, so was pleased to see this done by Tim. Here's my samples.
